From Raglan head through heartland NZ to Rotorua, a tourist centre with plenty to see and do. From Rotorua it’s a short ride up to Tauranga then back to Auckland by way of Paeroa or Matamata. What you’ll see on our Rotorua motorcycle tours of NZ

Our Rotorua tours take you far further afield than just through the city of geothermal wonders. After departing from Auckland, we recommend taking the scenic route to Raglan. Here you’ll have the chance to explore the colourful township and ride along the west coast’s rugged beaches before settling in to your accommodation for the evening.

The next day you’ll depart for Rotorua, taking State Highway 1 to Tirau and then State Highway 5 to arrive at Rotorua from the north. Enjoy your time here riding around the lake and checking out the many bubbling mud pools and geysers.

After spending the night in Rotorua, you’ll travel north to the city of Tauranga along State Highway 36. Ride around the bay and over to Mt Maunganui then down to Papamoa, enjoying the coastal breeze and the relaxed holiday atmosphere.

After one night in Tauranga, you’ll have a couple of choices for the final leg of your journey. Either head north on State Highway 2 to pass through the famous town of Paeroa or head south west and take State Highway 29 across to Matamata before joining State Highway 1 at Pokeno. Our Rotorua tours are an unbeatable way to explore some of New Zealand’s highlights on a Harley Davidson.
